A Year of Light

As we begin this new year

I am filled with hope that this is the Year of Light

Darkness is now banished and Light is everywhere

There is no room for the blocking of Light

There is Hope beyond reason as we prepare to see what is there

There is Bright Light shining upon each of us

As we look for what has been hidden and is now in front of us

We see what has always been here and yet unseen

We feel the Joy of warmth when before we could not even see the Son

This is now the Year of our Light

No darkness shall invade as we know what Light truly is

We are so very thankful for this knowledge

We have seen, felt and immersed ourselves in true Joy

The Pure Joy of the Light that has overtaken the darkness that was within

How long will it last

How long are we to be alive

As long as we are prepared to be so will be this Year of Light!
