White Sands with Gigi and Grandchildren-2003

In May of 2003 we took a very neat trip with gigi and our Grandchildren. We played cards in the van as we drove. Our first major stop was White Sands. We climbed to the top of steep while hills of sand where we buried each other in sand and played hard.

We drove on and stopped in the Painted Desert again where we walked and took pictures.

We arrived at Sea World of San Diego where Portia informed us that "she just wanted to have fun" and we just wanted to plan what we were going to do. A neat moment.

We rode the tram around the Animal Park.

We then went to the San Diego Zoo  where we took pictures of both the Red Panda and the wonderful "regular" Pandas.

Gigi took the kids herself to Disney while Linda and i had a nice day of driving around.

This was a special trip which we all enjoyed with much laughter and joy!
