The Essence of God - Light

The consensus of all humanity is there is only One God

One Creator God for everything

No doubt many beings worship many gods by many different names

No doubt they would strongly deny such a possibility

I know there is One God of Everything and Everyone!

If there is only One Supreme Being does it really matter

That each of us address this Being in many different ways

We call God by many different names and in many different ways

What really matters is that we do call out to God

It would seem to me that God or however we address our God

Absolutely knows when we are reaching out to God

This is what matters 

We, God’s Own Creations are reaching out, calling to God

Usually we are calling out in emotion,

Mostly asking for some kind of help, assistance, relief

Again, what matters is not what name we address God by

Not how we are reaching out to God or even why

It doesn’t matter even what we are asking God for

What matters is we are calling out to our God

We are including our God in our life

You could argue that God is in our life regardless of our reaching out to God

That would also be true

Still, I believe what matters most is that we are choosing

 to include our Creator God in our moment of life

We are exercising our free will given to us by this God to include God

Some would argue God is impervious to what we want or expect of God

This can not be true as we are created in the very image of God

God wants, perhaps, even needs us to want to include God in our every moment

Although it seems to be impossible it truly is not

For God is with us in every instant both when we are making good decisions

And yes, even when we make disastrous monumental failures also.

God is Light and Light is Love!

In this year of Light and Love,

We celebrate the Presence and Joy of God in our every breath

                              And

This is the Essence of God!
