Crystal Bridges Trip
After my doctor's appointment Tuesday morning, Linda and I drove 240 miles to Bella Vista, Arkansas where we were delighted to find a large 2 bedroom Time share. It was in a very nice setting on eight golf courses and very nicely appointed. In fact, it was just a little too large and spacious for us although we really enjoyed the huge multi person Jacuzzi tub. The bathroom was bigger than one of our small bedrooms at home.
That night we drove over to the Crystal Bridges museum and visited the Sky View on the Art trail. This is a strange round building This was a strange round building with a round circle opening in the top. There were seats for about 20 people and we took pictures of the sky through the opening. the effects were very interesting.
The next day we spent completely at Crystal Bridges. We visited all of the art displays and then took a brief respite before returning in the evening for dinner and Bucky Ball!
On Thursday we drove through Pea Ridge National Park.
We drove through Eureka Springs winding downtown and spent some time at the Christ of the Ozarks statue which was just as impressive as it had been over 35 years prior.
Eureka Springs seems to be divided between the biking community and the religious Right Community. Not certain we were comfortable with either.
