Trip to the Northwest Territories

23rd August to September 15, 2019

THE NORTHERN LIGHTS

We began this trip by visiting Portland, Oregon and visiting with Zachary and Portia. We then went Hope BC , Mt. Robson, Grand Prairie, Fort Nelson, Fort Simpson in the NWT, and then on to Yellowknife where we spent 3  days. We came back through High Level, Grand Cache, Radium Hot Springs, and on to Glacier National Park here in the USA.  We then spent 2 nights in West Yellowstone and 2 nights in Jackson , Wyoming. We then drove home via Cody, Wyoming, Gillette then past Devil Tower, Mt. Rushmore and finally a stop at the Wounded Knee Memorial which was terribly depressing as the gravesite was hard to reach and not taken care of! It seemed so wrong. It was a great trip - long and full of many events.
