Nebraska

The only time we really headed to Nebraska for a visit was to meet dear friends near Omaha

We went to visit the dedication of a beautiful historical Mormon Temple

The Winter Quarters Nebraska Temple was interesting.  especially, the Baptismal Font

It was neat to visit the inside of something that is so mysterious to non Mormons

We enjoyed the visit very much and found it to be a spiritual place

While in Omaha we also visited the great zoo and there was a unique white alligator on display

We have driven both highway 81 and 281 up and down the state

We have driven in through the grass lands on highway 26 to North Platte a pretty western town

Hastings and Kearney are other towns we have stopped in on our way through Nebraska

We have also driven both east and west on I-80

Norfolk, Nebraska where Johnny Carson lived but was not born and all the antique stores is another memory

This is a State we mostly went through and yet it deserves a little more attention

The Zoo, in particular, in Omaha is unquestionably a really neat place to visit

We spent a night near the University of Nebraska on our way to Denver

We went to Buffalo Wild Wings with all the kids after we had gone to a movie

In general we like Nebraska although most of the time it is a place we go through!
