We took an incredible vacation in a van with our son in law and four of our five grandchildren to Maine and New England

We went to Lewiston where our oldest daughter was working

We visited Bar Harbor where we went whale watching

We also had a nice lobster dinner while in Bar Harbor

We went on the most exciting of white water rafting trips

The Penobscot River was a great trip

Linda and Sadie gave a demonstration of a Tae Kwon Do form at lunch

We have a super video of the trip and of course one of our trip books

Spending time at Old Orchard Beach and the boardwalk was fun

We stopped on the way to Canada at an outdoor toilet with Sadie pointing the way

We did not see any moose which we had hoped to

We drove through Dennistown to Quebec

Another time Linda, Jamie and I drove all the way to Canada and spent the night in Houlton

Rolling green forested hills with not so many people would be my memory of Maine

We stopped in Portland and could not afford to take the ferry to Canada

Maine was a very nice place to visit but a long ways from everywhere else

I think we would go back but not too certain how high on our list it would be
