Connecticut

This is a state that we have driven through but never really stopped in

I don't think we have even bought gas there

There are only two states that we have very limited knowledge of and this is one of them

We have driven South to North on 1-95 from Stamford to New Haven on toward Rhode

Island

We have driven South to Hartford and down to Danbury

I remember interstate highway with tons of cars and fast traffic

I remember what must have been apartments or as some would say tenements

I remember miles and miles of tall what seemed to be apartment buildings

High rising buildings which we saw only from the windows of our car

I have been told and believe it is a lovely state still I only remember speeding through this state

Seems we were always in a hurry to go somewhere else

I don't remember even a reason to go back there

It seems Connecticut is a state we only wanted and might want to go through

Now I realize this isn't fair but it is how I remember Connecticut!
