Pictures Only Uncorrected

May 11th -Mt. St. Mary's and DC

We drove into  St. Elizabeth Seton's home in Emmetsburg only to find we were too early so we took a few pictures and went to the Lourdes Grotto behind MT. St. Mary's and it was different than we remembered. It was much more commercial but still serene and beautiful. There were warnings everywhere not to drink the water as it had tested positive for ecoli! We took many pictures and had a wonderful visit.

We visited the national Shrine of the Immaculate Conception which has long been one of Linda's and my most favorite places.

We drove into DC where Senator Pat Roberts office arranged a wonderful private tour of the US Senate and the young woman who guided us was incredible and just perfect. Interesting enough we had call our congressman -a Mr. Mike Pompeo whose staff literally blew us off. The young woman - a Miss Tashayla Person - was wonderful and really gave us a private and most perfect tour. The staff lady in the Old Supreme Court Chambers was also very very nice.
