Help me, O Lord

(My cry for Help)

Tell me where my place in life is, O Lord,

I am trying so hard to do Your will,

Right now I am tired and sort of lost,

So please take control of my life, Lord,

I have confidence in You.

For so long, I just did to survive,

Whatever and however, no matter, I just did,

You came into my life and I changed,

You gave me gifts that require using,

So Lord, I need for You to use me.

You would not have come into my life,

If I had not been opened to You by the Spirit,

He did open me to You and Your will,

I am trying so hard to respond,

Perhaps,

I should quit trying and just let You be.

I beg You to hear my cry, O Lord,

It is Your servant who is calling,

With all my faults and talents, begging,

Give me the strength and patience

To allow myself

To be used

By my God.
