Nikki and Strat-o-Matic Convention in DC

I am a long time member of the USBA Strat-o-Matic fantasy baseball league. We had a small convention at my friend and fellow Strat player, Rolf Larssen's home in Washington DC this year. On the way there we stopped in Michigan and visited Nikki our middle daughter.  While there Nikki, Linda and I spent a wonderful day at the Detroit Zoo. The butterfly house along with walking underneath a swimming polar bear were highlights of the day. It was the first such day we had spent with Nikki in a very long time and was very much overdue.

We stopped in Baltimore Maryland and visited  someone from our past, Mary Bragg Evans. Mary and I had gone to high school together and at one time was very close to my wife Linda.

At Rolf's beautiful home where we stayed, we had a fun gathering and attended a ML baseball game in Baltimore. There was much fun and Linda and I had a very enjoyable trip. We took a long and tedious walk down and back up Dark Hollow Falls in the Shenandoah NP.
