April 2001 - Our 36th Trip-2001

This was to be a short but interesting interlude for us as we traveled to Mexico to get medical supplies and then we cut across country to meet Gigi and her family at Carlsbad Caverns. We toured the Caverns with them and then went on to the North rim of the Grand Canyon where we camped for a couple of nights before rushing home. On the way we passed an area filled with satellite dishes that seemed almost like an "alien" listening post. We stopped briefly in the Badlands and took a few pictures. We also visited  Monument Valley and toured and took many pictures.  The moon was particularly beautiful at the Grand Canyon.
