Going to Colorado

After a massive rainstorm we got up and put things as best we could in the car and left to get a motel in Fort Collins, Colorado. Along the way we went through the high plains desert of Wyoming which Zach did not like. We also went through the Snowy Range drive highway 130 to Laramie where we saw Sand Hill Crane, a weasel, and a moose. We went swimming in a pool  and took long hot showers which really worked! Zach won 5-3-3 tonight to tie-up our competition!

Zach's thoughts

Last night there was a big rainstorm and we packed up the tent without folding it properly because it was too wet. Since everything was so wet, we packed the car as best we could without doing it nicely. We went on towards Colorado and on the way, grandma spotted 2 weasel, a moose, and 2 Sand Hill Crane. We drove through the middle of nowhere for miles until we entered a little mountain road where we saw the moose and the weasel. The trees ended as abruptly as they had started. Then we were back into the desert of the middle of nowhere. During the drive, grandma and I played Gin and I had 9 points and she had 2 points. That night I went swimming after having a very nice shower. We ate pizza as we played our nightly game of Gin. I WON TONIGHT! The score is now 3-3-0. Grandpa and I are tied again. I still intend to win at Gin this trip. A pretty cool day.
